Meaning
The singer asks the mother of all worlds who else can protect him. Addressing Kamakshi as the beloved of Kanchi's Ekamrapati, he admits to having wandered without stability, praising people who could not provide a dependable refuge. Their inadequacy contrasts with the goddess's immeasurable greatness. Even a being as eloquent as Adishesha could not exhaust that praise. Yet the conclusion is intimate and immediate: hear this petition, end the delay and give the troubled devotee the protection he seeks.
