Dasana Madiko Enna
A prayer to Venkataramana for service, a purified mind and the protection of compassion.
“Make me your servant” is the song’s central request. The verses explain what that means: release from harmful thoughts, steady devotion and the chance to serve Venkataramana.

Meaning
The singer asks the lord of a thousand names to accept him in service. Compassion is imagined as armour and the reassuring divine hand as a flower placed on the head. The request continues with firm devotion and a clean mind, ending in an appeal to the lord known for protecting those who seek refuge.
The shape of the prayer
The song is not simply asking to be rescued from an outside danger. It asks for an inward change—better thoughts, sustained attention and the ability to serve. That progression gives the returning pallavi its meaning.
