Meaning
Is happiness found in duality or in non-duality? Tyagaraja does not close the question with a simple doctrinal answer. Instead, he asks the all-witnessing consciousness to explain it to him. The final verse invokes the divine presence throughout the elements, gods and devoted people. This broad movement makes the song an enquiry addressed to the divine, with lived understanding sought beyond the mere repetition of philosophical labels.
