Meaning
Addressing his own mind, Tyagaraja urges it to become absorbed in nada and taste the joy of Brahman. The seven svaras and the many ragas form the musical world through which that invitation is expressed. The concluding verse names gods and sages associated with its worship. Rather than presenting a technical lesson, the song offers a compact vision of music practised as attentive, joyful participation in the divine.
