Meaning
The address is to Sita and Lakshmana, standing on either side of Rama. Tyagaraja asks them to explain the delight of such close service. Do they offer bodily reverence, sing the divine name with affection, or lose awareness of themselves in contemplation? The questions bring several ways of devotion into one intimate scene. He longs not simply to admire their closeness, but to learn from the experience they enjoy.
