Meaning

The central request is for well-being. Around it, the song gathers names of Akhilandeshvari that express both tenderness and power: she nourishes the world, removes anxiety and carries Shiva's trident. Her connection with Jambupati identifies the goddess through her divine partnership as well as her universal role. The final verse describes her delight in Sama singing and her readiness to relieve suffering. The successive names build one sustained appeal for an auspicious, protective presence in the devotee's life.
