Meaning
Tyagaraja asks why Rama hesitates to speak to him when he has sought Rama alone as his companion and shelter. The final verse recalls Hanuman's first meeting with Rama: even that learned, devoted messenger received an answer through Lakshmana. The poet places his own longing beside this episode, asking what chance a small devotee has if Hanuman himself met such reserve. The complaint expresses intimacy rather than abandonment of faith.
