Meaning
Rama’s absent smile becomes the centre of an intimate appeal. The singer wonders whether the Lord’s attendants have advised him, whether Garuda has delayed, or whether the journey to earth has somehow become too long. These questions express longing, not lack of faith: the final plea turns back to the one protector on whom the singer depends.
Musical context
The trailing word nī, meaning “your,” leads back to the opening image of the smiling face. Hearing that return helps connect the three sections as one continuing appeal.
