Meaning
Have you walked here to protect me? Tyagaraja addresses Rama with delighted wonder, believing that the Lord understands his deepest longing to see him. The final verse presents Rama's blue, jewel-like form, strings of pearls, bow and arrows, and Sita beside him. The lyric's attention moves from arrival to recognition: the beloved presence appears to answer a wish so private that it lives at the heart of the devotee's life.
